MSI debuts New Core i5-powered P600 laptop with 'plenty of battery life'


MSI is promising a laptop for businesspeople on the go with the debut of theP600 notebook, with the integration of high-end performance and security features. Powered by the company’s signature ECO Engine power-saving technology, a user can squeeze up to eight hours of life on a single charge out of the 8-cell battery on this 15.6-inch, Intel Core i5-based portable computer.

And for those traveling with some classified information, the P600 hosts a biometric fingerprint reader in case you’re bad with case-sensitive passwords.

Here’s what else MSI is offering in the P600: Windows 7 Home Premium, 15.6-inch HD display (1366 x 768 resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio), 4GB of DDR3 memory, 2.5-inch SATA hard drive (250/320/500GB), SD/SDHC/MMC card reader, HDMI and VGA outputs, Two USB 2.0 sockets, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, 1.3-megapixel webcam, Weighs 5.31-pounds

MSI hasn’t announced a price nor a release date yet.
